Racing to Protect Big Cats and Their World
This March, I’ll be running the United Airlines NYC Half to support the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
This will be my second half marathon and my first time running this iconic New York race. I’ve chosen to support WWF because protecting our planet is essential—it’s the foundation for thriving communities, abundant wildlife, and sustainable resources.
At home, our beloved house cats rule the den, and I absolutely adore all cats, big and small. And as much as I wish I could snuggle with a leopard, or boop a lion on the nose (because let’s face it, it’s just a big baby), that’s probably not the safest option—for any of us! So instead, I’m helping the best way I can: by supporting WWF’s incredible work protecting wildlife and preserving the habitats they call home.
From deforestation and climate change to water scarcity and illegal wildlife trade, our planet faces immense challenges—but together, we can create lasting solutions. WWF works every day with people, organizations, and institutions to protect the systems that sustain life: forests, oceans, freshwater, wildlife, energy, and food.
Your support makes this work possible. By donating, you’re helping to ensure a sustainable future for generations to come.
Thank you for being part of this journey—every contribution makes a difference!
